Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

This policy explains what DollarViews collects about you, why, who we share it with, and what control you have. DollarViews at dollarviews.net is operated by Marco Diaz, an individual sole proprietor. For privacy questions, write to contact@dollarviews.net.

1.What we collect

Account information: your email address, your username, an encrypted form of your password, your referral code, and the code of whoever referred you if you signed up through an invite. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google instead of a password.

Activity information: which videos you completed and when, your reward and balance history, referral commissions, and withdrawal requests including the payout method and destination you supply.

Partner offer information: when you complete an offer from a partner network, that network sends us a record of it. That record includes a transaction identifier, the offer name, the reward, your approximate country, and technical details of the completion including your IP address, which we store with the conversion.

Technical information: standard server logs and information your browser sends when you use the site.

2.Why we use it, and our legal basis

To provide your account and run the service, including crediting rewards, tracking referrals and processing withdrawals. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.

To verify that rewards were genuinely earned and to detect fraud, duplicate accounts and automated activity. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service and paying honestly earned balances, and our contract with you.

To respond when you contact support. Legal basis: our contract with you and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations connected to payouts. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

3.Partner offers and advertising

The offers section of your dashboard is supplied by third-party partner networks. When you open it, we pass that network an identifier for your account so that any offer you complete can be credited to you. The network sets its own cookies and collects its own data under its own privacy policy, and we do not control that.

Because of this, the offers section only loads after you agree to it. You can decline, and you can change your mind at any time from your settings page.

Under California law, passing an identifier to an advertising partner in this way may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising, even though no money changes hands for your data.

4.Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

Supabase, which hosts our database and handles authentication, and therefore stores your account and activity data. Lovable, which hosts and deploys the website. Google, if you choose to sign in with Google. Our partner offer networks, as described above. Our payout providers, currently PayPal, Stripe and bank transfer, which receive the payout details you give us in order to pay you.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to investigate fraud or protect our rights or the rights of our users.

We do not sell your personal information.

5.International transfers

Our providers operate internationally, so your information may be stored or processed outside your own country, including in the United States. Where data is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on our providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. You can ask us for details at contact@dollarviews.net.

6.How long we keep it

We keep account and earnings data while your account is open, and for as long afterwards as we need it for tax, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes.

Records of payouts are kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law.

When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and personal identifiers. We may keep a minimal, non-identifying record of a paid or reversed transaction where we are required to, or where deleting it would let someone re-register to repeat fraud.

7.Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we relied on it.

You can edit your username directly on your profile page, and change your offers consent from your settings page. For anything else, write to contact@dollarviews.net and we will respond within the time your law allows, normally within one month.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

8.California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.

We do not sell personal information. As described in the partner offers section above, the offerwall may constitute "sharing" under California law. To opt out, decline the offers consent prompt, turn it off in your settings, or write to contact@dollarviews.net.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

9.Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage for things the site needs in order to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your language choice under the key dv-language, and remembering whether you agreed to load the partner offers section. These are necessary for the service and are not used for advertising, so they do not require a consent banner.

The partner offer networks set their own cookies inside their section of the dashboard, under their own policies. That is why that section is gated behind your explicit agreement.

10.Children

DollarViews is not intended for anyone under 16, and you must be at least 16 to hold an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has created an account, write to contact@dollarviews.net and we will delete it.

11.Security

Passwords are stored in encrypted form by our authentication provider and are never visible to us. Access to production data is restricted, and the database enforces per-user access rules so that one account cannot read another's data.

No service can promise perfect security. Use a strong, unique password and tell us immediately if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will give you notice before it takes effect.

13.Contact

For any privacy question, or to exercise any right described here, write to contact@dollarviews.net and we will handle it.
